FEATURES:The
Loo With A View is a perfect meeting place for friends and families.
Showers, Toilets, Telephones, Playground, Exercise areas, BBQ's,
Picnic benches, Shops/café's. No dogs allowed on beach. Dog
on leash along walkways a requirement.
SURFING:For
a few days once or twice a year during the cyclone season, large
southeast swells approach the coastline, Mooloolaba and Noosa
are the only beaches protected enough to be swimmable. The waves
wrap around Point Cartwright and form up again dumping in the
shallow waters of Mooloolaba. Care should be taken and always
heed the lifeguards signals or warnings. A nice lefthander can
form to the north of the beach off the rocks for the surfers.
FISHING:Not
recommended due to crowds. Fish the bay from a boat during summer
for mackerel and winter for taylor, bream and other ocean species.
The rock wall offers good catches of bream all year round.
WALKING:A
great path walk south to the river mouth and rock wall. Walk
north to Alexandra Headland for majestic views of the bay. The
Mooloolaba esplanade is a popular walk with numerous cafes,
restaurants and eateries along the way. The Loo With A View
off Mooloolaba beach is a great meeting place for friends and
