Almost 10 km of uncrowded beach exist from
Currimundi Lake entrance in the south to Pt Cartwright in
the North. 3km before Point Cartwright is Buddina
Beach and Kawana SLSC. You should always swim between
the flags and Kawana SLSC patrol the beach in front of the
surf club on weekends and public holidays from the September
School holidays through to the end of the Easter school holidays.
A lifeguard patrols these areas on weekdays during the gazetted
summer school holidays. In addition to this Kawana Surf Life
Saving Club provides roving patrols along this beach.
