SURFING:Alexandra
headland, known as the bluff by the locals offers a great right-hander
slider for Malibu riders on small swells. When a strong southeasterly
swell is up, a solid right will break from the point with heavy
sections along the way. A dumping rip feed left can form straight
out off the beach frequented by the body boarders.
FISHING:Only
fished during winter or of a night for bream, dart, flathead
and taylor.
WALKING:Excellent
walk over headland to Mooloolaba with great views of the coastline
in both directions. The shorter distance but longer walk to
Mooloolaba is around the rocks on a low tide. |
