FEATURES:Kirra Beach, an excellent place to stop and have a swim, a meal or just relax in shaded areas. Let the children loose in the playground or take a stroll along the esplanade.
SURFING:North Kirra sits at the end of the most perfect wave on the Gold Coast. It's best to paddle out further south. This spot offers quick and powerful rights over a sandy bottom but it needs a solid south east swell to work at its best.
FISHING:Fish on the beach during the day or night for dart and bream. Better results during the winter months when the crowds are less and the fish are plentiful. Wet a line adjacent to the storm water drain during a high tide for some mixed results.
WALKING:A tranquil walk south to Greenmount and on, marvel at the amount of sand on the beach stretching almost as far as the eye can see. When the swell is up watch the surfers from Kirra Point get some amazing rides.
