FEATURES:There
is sand for as far as the eye can see on Greenmount
Beach so just kick back and take in the suns
warming rays. Take a dip in the cool refreshing
water, have a meal or just relax in shaded
areas. Let the children loose in the playground
or take a stroll along the esplanade. Greenmount
offers everything the beach visitor needs
to enjoy the day in the sun. Remember to take
lots of sun protection for the day outside.
SURFING:Another
of the Gold Coast's quality right hand, sand
bottom point breaks. The learner surfer will
enjoy this break when it is under about a
metre in size. The wave will peal perfectly
to the right for a good wave. Above the 2
metre mark, Coolangatta will turn it on and
a good wave can be had by all.
FISHING:Fish
on the beach during the day or night for dart
and bream. Better results during the winter
months when the crowds are less and the fish
are plentiful.
WALKING:Take
a stroll in either direction along the beachfront
watching the waves or enjoying the shopping.
You will find some brilliant views to the
north as you progress.
